If you look at the state of tennis today as compared to 30 years ago, a lot has changed. Most of this change took place in the’80s, as both the racquets and playing styles underwent major transformations.

I’d like to take a trip down memory lane by writing about my favorite five’80s tennis players. These all come down to my personal preferences and they’re not based on merit. Nonetheless, I’ll be curious to see how these compare with yours.

The best tennis instructions for beginners is simple… Let your opponent mess up before you do. You might watch the professionals on TV and marvel at the speed they hit the ball over the net.

And so you go out there and try to hit the ball with as much speed. Next thing you know you have lost a tennis ball over the fence and into someone’s yard.

Most of my articles focus on the state of men’s tennis, but I’d like to talk about the women this time around. Many believe that it’s the biggest women’s sport in the world, and I would agree.

Women are faster, stronger, and harder working in the world of professional tennis and we’ve been lucky enough to see some absolutely great players. Here are the 7 best since’80, in my opinion.

7. Venus Williams. With all of her Wimbledon wins and some other slams, there’s no denying how great she’s been. When she’s at the top of her game, she can beat sister Serena, which says it all right there.

Brunswick Forest is a 4,500 acre private community that is set on the backdrop of a beautiful coastal setting in Wilmington NC. The community features 11 distinctive communities with many benefits and amenities within the community.

Southern charm abounds within the communities neighborhoods. Budget conscious home owners will enjoy the low maintenance single family homes and town houses. The planners have done an excellent job with keeping the neighborhoods secluded while keeping the feeling of a close knit community.

Today’s parents are busier than ever! Between work, kids and caring for the home, you may think that there is no time for exercise. Exercise is valuable to your fitness as well as the health of your children. Doing activities collectively, as a family unit, is a great way to work in exercise, fresh air (if outdoors), and family fun time together.

If you are an avid tennis player you may want to have your own backyard tennis court. Even if you do not want to incur the expense of a complete tennis court, it is advisable to have your own tennis net in case the one at your local court is damaged or missing.

The greatest benefit of buying your own tennis net is that you will have one available to play whenever you want! Tennis supplies, including nets, can be found for sale online or in local sporting good stores; look for moneysaving discounts. As for your buying options, the selection of nets will vary from store to store.

What’s the most important possession for a beginning golfer? The answer is a set of golf clubs. Owning clubs rather than borrowing or renting them makes practicing your swing and other aspects of your technique much easier and more convenient. If you’re serious about improving your game, you need this most basic of equipment. Since clubs can be very expensive, though, and many golfers are on a tight budget, shopping around for a good deal on used single clubs or a set of used clubs can be a popular option.
