The oscillating balls are random and fed in 6 different spots on the court. The ball also is lobbed at a 50 degree angle at various speeds. The lobs are also fed at random locations on the court and can have various types of top spin and back spin.

The Lobster Elite 3 is battery operated and has a 4-8 hr life on one charge. The hamper holds about 150 balls, this is pretty standard on most tennis ball machines. The machine weighs about 44 lbs and is quite portable. Intermediate to advanced players can use this machine but beginners should not use this machine as there are cheaper options. Beginners do not need as many functions or high speed balls.
